Doesn’t really mean anything, of course, but it’s amusing. I guess Eugene can trot across the parking lot if he needs a little entertainment while he’s composing his latest plea for $10 or more to help with his video rental fund, um, I mean traditional values. Public opinion marginalizes someone like her, evidenced by her swift termination and the reaction to her post once it became exposed. That doesn't stop others like her from enacting their prejudice on people, though, and that's where we probably disagree. My view is the same as MLK's: Laws cannot change people's hearts, but they can restrain the heartless. As the aunt of transgender man, I am appalled at what is still legal and what still happens everyday. All of us must stand together to end this stupidity. My nephew doesn't deserve that kind of treatment and neither does any other transgender person. That the flyer was sent with such blatant misinformation also is a good argument for why the factual material needs to be permanently included in the curriculum. At least there should be a good argument in this direction.
